This Accessibility Statement describes the AGPVER-X Briefing Interface's commitment to digital accessibility and the features available to support all users.
The AGPVER-X Briefing Interface is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including those with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where feasible within the constraints of a tactical briefing environment.
All interactive elements — including navigation links, form fields, and the hold-to-transmit deployment control — are operable via keyboard. Users may use Tab to move forward, Shift+Tab to move backward, and Enter or Space to activate controls. Focus indicators are visible as a dotted outline around the active element.
The Platform uses a high-contrast dark theme with amber accent color (approximately 7:1 contrast ratio for primary text) to support readability in low-light operational environments. Safe Mode (toggled with the Escape key) reduces visual intensity for users sensitive to motion or high-contrast elements. Font sizes use relative units and may be scaled using browser zoom controls.
Semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) are used throughout the Platform to support screen reader navigation. ARIA labels are provided for icon-only controls. Status indicators such as the headline feed and safe-mode toggle expose their state through appropriate ARIA attributes.
The Platform includes a scrolling headline ticker and scanline visual effects. Users who prefer reduced motion may enable their operating system or browser reduced-motion setting, which the Platform respects by minimizing non-essential animations.
All forms — including access requests, briefing requests, and authentication — include associated label elements and clear field instructions. Error messages are displayed inline and are programmatically associated with their corresponding input fields. The hold-to-transmit deployment control is designed with a sustained-press interaction that can be completed via keyboard.
The tactical briefing dashboard presents dense data visualizations that may be challenging for some assistive technologies to parse in full detail. Where complex visual data is presented, we provide text-based summaries or alternative representations where feasible. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us.
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this Platform. If you encounter difficulty accessing any content or functionality, please contact the platform administrator through the Contact link in the page footer. We will make reasonable efforts to address accessibility concerns in a timely manner.
